"Ruska" is the Finnish word for the stunning autumn foliage season, when Lapland’s forests, fells, and tundra covers into vibrant shades of red, yellow, and orange.
This colorful transformation usually happens in September and is one of the most beautiful natural events in Finland!
The colorful contrast will make this hike perfect for our photoshoot where we will focus on the landscape, portraits and catching the best light for your photos.
During our hike we will pass next to 800 years old forest and we will share with you the most interesting facts about the importance of it in the Finnish culture.
We will stop in a Finnish Laavu, at the top of our hill, where we will enjoy a warm coffee and sweet cinnamon buns roasted directly on the fire while sharing stories and curiosities that will make your experience truly unique.
