We specialize in Northern Light Hunts with a 100% focus on finding the best sightings. Please note that we do not provide a BBQ or dinner, but we do offer snacks and traditional hot beverages to keep us warm during the extensive driving (please inform us of any allergies, and we will accommodate accordingly).
During our tour, we do not have a fixed departure time. Instead, we will depart based on the weather conditions and solar activity, and we will keep you informed throughout the process.
The tour duration is also flexible. Sometimes, we may need to wait for extended periods if we are already in an ideal location or if we anticipate significant activity based on solar conditions.
Each night presents a different experience. We primarily choose our viewing spots based on cloud coverage and weather forecasts, which may require us to drive towards Sweden or Norway. We do not have a set kilometer range, and on some nights, we may drive between 500 to 600 kilometers. Consequently, the return time is not predetermined. If anyone in the group has a flight in the morning, we will consider this when planning our return.
If we determine that the chances of seeing the Northern Lights are low due to cloud cover or solar activity, we will cancel the tour and provide a full refund. This policy ensures that we do not waste time and resources or unnecessarily impact the environment.
Since the Aurora is a natural phenomenon and weather conditions can change rapidly, the Hunt is unpredictable. In the unlikely event that the Hunt is unsuccessful (not visible even with a camera), we will offer a 75% refund or the option to join us for another Hunt on a future date.
Throughout the Hunt, we will provide explanations about the Aurora, including the scientific and cultural significance, allowing you to actively engage in the experience. We will also take professional photographs during the tour and send them to you afterward via an email link to ensure high quality.
We want you to fully participate in our tour. Before heading out, we will provide a basic explanation of the Aurora phenomenon and the tools we use, so you can contribute to our Hunt. By the end of the tour, our goal is to ensure all your questions about this incredible phenomenon are answered. We focus not only on the scientific aspects but also on the cultural significance of the Aurora.
